Good Bones, Ugly Skin

It’s hard to overlook the importance of stunning visuals like great photos and well captured videos when in the real estate market these days. We’ve all no doubt heard that overused term “good bones” when referring to a property that doesn’t show well. The reality in most cases is that buyers won’t look past the superficial exteriors of sloppy unmaintained properties or messy cluttered interiors on their first look, especially when looking at visuals online. In an ever growing competitive market, getting a favourable first impression means so much. Nowadays most buyers start their search online and go straight to the listing pictures. If the visuals don’t grab their attention, then its straight to the next listing. Smart homeowners today are demanding that their homes are shot by professional “best in class” photographers and licenced video drone pilots. The days of Real Estate Agents doing it themselves are gone.
